More success for the FP's

Dalziel readily moved into the next round of the Queens Park Challenge Cup with a comprehensive win. After an even quarter of an hour the home side dominated the rest of the first half, taking a half time lead when Barry McMullen powered home a header from 6 yards. Giffnock made life more difficult at the start of the second half, but two headers from Graham Donaldson in the last quarter of the game sealed the victory.
Dalziel travel east next Saturday to face newly promoted Links Utd in a Premier League game.
Dalziel FP (U21) 4 - 2 Muirend
The young Dalziel side dominated the first half with 2 goals from Kevin Burns and a strike from Ryan Grant helping them to a 3 -1 lead at the interval. Dalziel continued on top in the second half, but Muirend added a second goal. Before the away side could fashion a comeback Dalziel clinched the game when Steven Murdoch added a fourth goal to give the home side all three points, and a boost before their Scottish cup tie away to West Park United next Saturday.
